Baked Brie and Prosciutto Bites
Ingredients:
1 package of 15 premade phyllo shells
1/3 lb of Brie
1 3-oz package of prosciutto
1 green onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon fig preserves (per shell) (available from The Olive Tap Manitou Springs or Colorado Springs locations)
1 teaspoon truffle honey for drizzling (available from The Olive Tap Manitou Springs or Colorado Springs locations)
*everything can be made “to taste”
Directions:
1. Bake/Melt the Brie in a 375 degree oven for roughly 15 minutes or until the cheese is melty.
2. Crisp up the pastry shells at 375 for 4 minutes.
3. Scoop melted cheese into cups.
4. Add small dollop of fig preserves to each cup.
5. Drizzle truffle honey on each cup.
6. Cut and roll prosciutto slightly smaller than width of shell and add to each.
7. Garnish with chopped scallion.
If needed, reheat the cups in the oven but they are able to be served at room temperature. We left some without prosciutto for a vegetarian option.
