
Blackened Salmon
Transform your salmon with a blend of Sorrento Lemon Olive Oil and Cajun Blackening Seasoning for a dish that’s both tender and moist with just the right touch of spice. Oven-baked to perfection, it’s a simple, healthy salmon recipe offering a zesty, slightly spicy kick without the need for pan-searing. A quick and easy recipe that's both delicious and nutritious.
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets, skin-on or off, your choice
2 tbsp Sorrento Lemon Olive Oil, divided
4 tbsp The Olive Tap’s Cajun Blackening Seasoning, divided
1 lemon, cut in wedges
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Rub each fillet with 1/2 tbsp Sorrento Lemon Olive Oil.
Generously coat the salmon with the Cajun Blackening Seasoning with 1 tbsp per fillet (or more if desired) to put a nice layer of spice on it.
Bake for 8-12 minutes until the fish is pink and flakes with a fork. Be careful not to over cook.
Squeeze with a lemon wedge and serve immediately,
