Cherie’s Caramel Apple Sauce
A sweet syrup that can be spooned over ice cream, used as a dip for fruit, and much more!
1/2 C. The Olive Tap’s Apple Balsamic Vinegar (Sour Apple White Riserva Balsamic Vinegar may be substituted)
3/4 C. brown sugar
2 T. butter
Pecans, coarsely chopped (optional)
Melt butter over medium heat, add Apple Balsamic Vinegar, sugar, and pecans. Simmer until sugar dissolves completely. Be careful not to burn.
Drizzle over ice cream, oatmeal or over Greek yogurt. Dip apples, drizzle over bananas and more!
