Kale Garlic Walnut Pesto
This is an amazing twist on traditional pesto using kale and walnuts. It's so delicious, and full of health benefits!
Ingredients:
- 2 C. kale, stems removed
- 1/3 walnuts, lightly toasted
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1/2 C. The Olive Tap’s Italiano Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 C. grated parmesan cheese
- A couple pinches of salt
Directions:
In a food processor pulse kale, walnuts, and garlic until combined. While machine is running slowly add in olive oil. Add in parmesan cheese, and salt to taste, and continue to blend until all ingredients are blended thoroughly. Pesto is wonderful served with pasta, potatoes, vegetables, in scrambled eggs, and on meats. The possibilities are endless…
