Cherie’s Festive Italian Cheese Dip
A hot cheesy appetizer that everyone will love. Perfect for a casual gathering, or even for the holidays!
Ingredients:
Two 8 oz. packages of Mascarpone or Cream Cheese
1 t. garlic powder
1 T. Fresh Parsley (minced)
3 T. The Olive Tap’s Sun Dried Tomato and Basil Bruschetta Topping
2 T. Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
¼ C. Fresh Basil (torn into small pieces) for garnish if desired
Directions:
Cream together the cheese, garlic powder and parsley. Spread mixture into a glass or ceramic pie dish. Top with Sun-dried Tomato and Basil Bruschetta topping, then sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese. Microwave for 2 ½ to 3 minutes until hot.
Top with Fresh Basil. Serve with slices of crusty bread.
