Grilled Baby Back Ribs
Ingredients:
3 pounds baby back pork ribs
The Olive Tap’s Rib Rub (about 3 Tbl)
1 cup The Olive Tap’s Bourbon Bacon Barbeque Sauce
Spanish Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil (or your favorite)
Directions:
Preheat gas grill for high heat, if using charcoal put under one side of the grill.
Turn the ribs bone-side up. Slip a sharp knife between the thin membrane and the bone to loosen, then pull off the membrane. Rub the Olive oil all over both sides of the ribs, then sprinkle evenly with the Rib Rub
Lightly oil the grate. Lay ribs on the top rack of the grill (away from the coals, if you’re using charcoal) and reduce the gas heat to low and close the lid.
Cook undisturbed until meat pulls away easily from the bone, about 1 to 1.5 hours. (you can put aluminum foil on the lower rack to catch drippings and prevent flare-ups if desired)
Brush ribs with Bourbon Bacon Barbecue Sauce, and grill for an additional 5 minutes. Cut ribs between each rib bone and pile individually on a platter.
